I think it is a cultural thing maybe? You also don't see lesbians grossed out about penises quite as much as you see gay men grossed out by vaginas. It really seems like vaginas are gross to a lot of people unless they are attracted to them.

On the other hand, penises are also often treated as a joke and as something unattractive and purely functional. I've legitimately heard straight women with no interest in other women whatsoever say the female form is meant to be aesthetically pleasing and the male form was designed for function.

In my experience, despite the stereotype of the "man-hating lesbian," there are way more gay men who seem to personally dislike, or be grossed out by women than lesbians who seem to have issues with men. I don't think I've actually met a lesbian who's expressed a dislike of men in general, though I'm sure there must be some around.

I have, but they were almost universally young and wore stupid dyed haircuts and posted on either Livejournal or tumblr, depending on when I met them.
