That's a good point about the ruins. Everything looked too new. They should have looked thousands of years old. I think I agree with everything you said. Although the scenery in LOTR was really pretty. But it wasn't quite right. And it all looked new, not as if it had been settled for thousands of years and had ruins of ancient cities.
