Yeah, I don't think you actually read the books and I'm beginning to think you're a troll. Your hate-boner for Legolas is showing.

Legolas was not a douche in the books. He showed concerned about the hobbits. He threw one temper tantrum in Lorien but then quickly became BFFs with Gimli. He wasn't stingy in his praise of Gimli or anyone else. He would sing at the drop of a hat and tease Gandalf. If you want to say there's not much to his character, fair enough. But he was not a douche.
