Also, there's a difference between being critical of someone saying they ship Snape/Hermoine, and being critical of someone who says Snape is their dream man and they want to be the Hermoine in the relationship.

To humor you, I don't see anyone saying "you're a bad person for shipping this". OP's wording implies that there's an existing person, "a man I love but cannot have" who she represents as Snape in her head and compares their dynamic to Snape/Hermoine, which would be a totally awful a dysfunctional couple irl and people aren't wrong to say so. Sounds like she's taking it to the next level tbh, beyond shipping and fantasies.
