Well... when I see pictures of my grandfather when he was my age, I think that if I went back in time and met him without knowing who he was, I'd definitely be into him. So. Yeah.

This makes me think the opposite would be kinda interesting- Ash traveling back in time from a future where he's of the same age as professor Oak. Maybe because Pikachu is growing old and he wants to do something about it. Would he be a Pokémon Master by then? How would he interact with the professor that sent him on his adventure? Would he be hot?

Yeah. I never read Pokémon fanfics though so that fic just might be floating around somewhere.

Sammy (mini-Oak) travelled fifty years into the future and met Ash and co. They hung out for two days or something, saved Celebi, and Ash cried when Sammy had to go back to his own time. Among the many gems in their brief but intense friendship is a scene where they sit in a tree with their arms around each other, watching the dawn as a crowd of sparkling butterfrees fly past.
