I've discovered that knee high socks are best at keeping my legs warm AND they stay up better without digging into them! Calve length digs into my legs. I don't have diabetes but for some reason 'normal length' socks do that to me. Dr. Scholl's makes restriction free socks and those are great too. And Smart Wool has an excellent pair online. But the best pair I've found is $4 at Meijer. Really.

Man when it gets to be summer I'll have to resort to ankle socks. I'll miss my knee highs.
