You should examine your own motivation for holding this grudge in stead of spending your energy being jealous. Might lead to some creation from your hand, you'll never know.

We get so many of these types of secrets, that they all just come off the same now.

Also I don't really believe the secret makers' attempts to assure us that the writing is really shitty.

I've had friends who had a person in fandom who really hated them and would tell people that their writing is really shitty and pathetic and people just pity them. I mean yeah there are people who try to self publish bad fics and are divas about it. But if I'm going to make a judgement on someone's writing it's going to be after I see it for myself and not taken from the mouth of someone who openly resents them.

One person's shitty "they're such a terrible writer" stuff is another person's comfort read / brilliant delight.
