[ F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!) ]
Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.
Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.
That's about it, though!
I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff. If you want me to link your thread up here, drop a link in the first comment!
List of threads:

Re: But really, what are your thoughts on yaoi?
(Anonymous) 2016-02-20 11:14 pm (UTC)(link)What I can't stand is slash fans that keep judging yaoi from their high horse. As if slash wasn't full of top/bottom preferences and other clichés. And let's not forget A/O/B and its popularity in slash fandoms.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-21 12:07 am (UTC)(link)As a slash fan I fucking hate it.
Re: But really, what are your thoughts on yaoi?
(Anonymous) 2016-02-21 03:24 am (UTC)(link)A/B/O is a mixture of many old slash tropes (pon farr/sexpolen is now heat! The bottom is just not the nice/delicate/wobbie one, is a submissive omega!) with a small extra (knots) and most people who like it aren't into yaoi at all.
Re: But really, what are your thoughts on yaoi?
(Anonymous) 2016-02-21 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)The uke practically IS the submissive omega in a fuckload of old BL/yaoi. You sound really young, like you haven't seen or read much old yaoi and you think the new stuff is representative of the genre.
Might I remind you that self-lubricating anuses, rape is love, and sex pollen did exist in old school yaoi? Like, a lot. A/B/O really just is the new generation's attempt at the same lame tropes.
Re: But really, what are your thoughts on yaoi?
(Anonymous) 2016-02-21 12:13 am (UTC)(link)Yaoi, or shall we say BL, is hardly a "genre" on its own except that it is m/m. Especially since a lot of the fandom comes from ships that aren't even from things that are officially yaoi in the first place.
