1. It's quite safe to write fiction about Jack the Ripper because he existed over a century ago. But if you write fiction about Columbine, you are dealing with events that happened to people who are still living. And that is always a sticky thing to do.

2. I'm assuming that this is a music group as I don't know who they are but I agree that refusing to listen to a group just because you don't like how they look is stupid. Some of the most beautiful music groups had HORRIBLE music.

6. The reverse is also true. A lot of fics tend to make Reno shorter than he is. Reno isn't short, he's tall. Usually it's the same fics that try to make Reno a emotard as well. Maybe there's a connection. Maybe people make characters taller in connection with a personality trait that they're imposing on the character.

8. Don't do it! Seriously. If not for the sake of the children then for your sake so they don't come after you when they're grown. :D

10. I am very fortunate in that my mother absolutely hates computers and wouldn't touch one if you paid her.

[01] That I agree with you there; but in the end it falls upon one's personal preference of writing. I myself may not think it's weird but I would not read any of it myself. The more impacting the subject, the bigger in differences of opinions become. :/;;;
