[01] I don't find that weird either; the only thing about it is that it's a touchy topic to write fiction about. Then again I'm writing about a serial killer who models himself after another murderer who killed prostitutes in England dues the 1880s. Who am I to say what's weird and what's not. :D

1. It's quite safe to write fiction about Jack the Ripper because he existed over a century ago. But if you write fiction about Columbine, you are dealing with events that happened to people who are still living. And that is always a sticky thing to do.

2. I'm assuming that this is a music group as I don't know who they are but I agree that refusing to listen to a group just because you don't like how they look is stupid. Some of the most beautiful music groups had HORRIBLE music.

6. The reverse is also true. A lot of fics tend to make Reno shorter than he is. Reno isn't short, he's tall. Usually it's the same fics that try to make Reno a emotard as well. Maybe there's a connection. Maybe people make characters taller in connection with a personality trait that they're imposing on the character.

8. Don't do it! Seriously. If not for the sake of the children then for your sake so they don't come after you when they're grown. :D

3. Murr, no doubt I'm going to cause drama, but yeah, you can have your own opinion on why you dislike a character all you want, but including the fact that she's never around for events? I think the problem is people forget that there's LIFE outside rping. ZOMG, I KNOW WHAT A CONCEPT. There is a living breathing person behind each character, one who has their own life separate from their characters. And sometimes their own life can affect their character's, because RL > RPG. So to hold it against the character because the mun can't be around all the time to do the events? Is kind of messed up there Sparky~

3. Why do all OC's have to be someone that's just "ZOMG AMAZING!" and such when 99% of all people are "nothing special"? She sounds more interesting than a Mary Sue/Gary Lou.

1) Seeing as I've lived close to a school shooting site (Heath High School, West Paducah, KY), and I attended college with the one survivor of the shooting (we had social work classes together), I'm.... highly offended by the idea od fanfic based on real school shootings. To me, it's SICK. I suppose it's because it hits so close to home. -_-
