I love a good villain redemption arc. Redeemed villains are a few of my favorite characters in some canons.

Me too. As cynical as I am, I'm totally a sucker for a good redemption arc, like Zuko from Avatar. Though, as someone with atrocious social skills myself, I sympathize with Peridot in all those episodes where she's basically a social klutz. It hurts, when people hate you and you can't quite figure out why.

Hahaha oh man I know that one very , very well. I think I should watch more Steven Universe to get to that, because Peridot seems like a character I can relate with.
