When the "LET'S RACEBEND ALL THE WHITE CHARACTERS INTO POC" trend is applied to characters that aren't actually white. Like the Sailor Senshi, or the Maximoff twins, or to give a more recent example, Poe Dameron from Star Wars.

Poe is played by a Hispanic actor.

Pietro & Wanda are Romani on their mom's side and Jewish on their dad's side, and definitely would not be considered white in Europe, where they're originally from.

Jewish isn't really a race though, and if it is, it's generally white.

For that matter, Hispanic doesn't necessarily mean not-white, too. Though I agree with where you're coming from, a hispanic person can literally have lily white skin and blonde hair.

Jewish is white in contemporary America, but it probably wouldn't have been in Eastern Europe, and gypsy certainly wouldn't have been.

Of course I think there's a strong argument to be made that in a 21st century Hollywood blockbuster, set in 21st century America, the correct standard to use is the 21st century American standard, but hey, I'm not here to speculate on anyone's motives.
