I admit I haven't sat down and listened to her latest stuff but she's just never done it for me on the singing front. Songwriting, yes, she's got some talent there. She's just never impressed me on the actual performance of things.

Her voice is very thin. And I also can't watch her perform, because she's incredibly awkward. But the songs themselves are pretty good/catchy.
