I'm so sorry, but I admit I LOLed. For future reference, a little dab of antibiotic cream not only aids with healing, but it helps with the pain, too. Maybe by acting as a buffer to those exposed nerve endings.

Some A&D ointment is good, too, just to repel anything that shouldn't go in cuts, and makes it feel better.
