tbh I started shipping it after that episode because it's fucked up and creepy (I also ship Samifer so I guess it's not surprising that I'd dig Dean/Amara as well). Judge away, OP but your judginess probably doesn't mean much to a fandom where over half the people shamelessly ship two brothers together and the other half ships Dean and the angel possessed corpse of a dude

at corpse of a dude. I just kind of assume that the demons and angels, if their vessels are abandoned, keep things circulating so it's not all that corpseish.

Cas' vessel isn't a rotting zombie, but it's definitely a dead guy (since jimmy is decidedly no longer alive and is currently chillin' in heaven) so "corpse" still seems more or less accurate.

Except not really, because after Jimmy died for real, Castiel died and was regenerated in copies of his body. At this point, he's just in something made for him to have a form, there's nothing left of the original anything.
