His tiddies are bigger than hers, so. There's that at least.

Stop muscle shaming. Not joking. It takes hard work to have pecs his size.

I don't see why it's gross. If something turns you on, then it turns you on. No big deal. You only "fail at feminism" if you believe that everyone irl should conform to those stereotypes

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
This. A billion times, this. Stop letting other people dictate your life.

This.

I'm surprised that you're in fandom and THIS is what you think is gross. Having been exposed to a gigantic array of different kinks, it kind of makes me laugh that you're skeeved out by the fact that everyday gender stereotypes turn you on.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
I can kind of get that, except it only works if the people involved are the same gender for me. In femmeslash and slash it's interesting. In het it's... well. Par for the course, usually

OP

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
I like them in slash and femmeslash, too. Glad to hear I have company. I thought this whole community hated them, e.g. secret 10.

*screaming* FANTASIES DO NOT EQUAL REAL LIFEEEEE! AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT HURTING ANYONE FANTASIZE ABOUT WHATEVERRRRR!

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
NA

in addition: do whatever the hell you like in your private life as long as you don't try to insist others should follow or that yours is The One True Way

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
No, but fantasies to feed into real life. If you have a fantasy about raping women, you should probably not put yourself around too many women.

Fantasies are fine when people don't let them color their interactions, but most of us do let them color our actions.

I'm pretty sure you only posted this so you'd get loads of people reassuring you that you don't 'fail at feminism' or whatever. *rolls eyes* Is there an equivalent of 'fishing for complements' where people fish for reassuring comments?

are you the rad!fem troll?

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 09:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Your life must be SO HARD. What with 99% of media catering to your exact tastes. Poor baby. I shed tears of sympathy.

And the attacks! Why every few months I see people complain about the vast desert of no decent fendom in sight and that must cut like a knife, that they don't conform to your preferences.

These secrets are so boring.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
How is that gross? I like trad stuff too, I guess that makes me pretty boring.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 10:55 pm (UTC)(link)
nah. stuff that turns you on doesn't have to be the same as stuff you want/agree with in your day to day life

It's only a "fail at feminism" if you a) try to force this preference on everyone else and b) think everyone should be like this all the time. Fantasy isn't reality.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 11:29 pm (UTC)(link)
What? Why would you be ashamed of that?

Look at post #10. Look at yourself. You're the normal one.

YOU ARE NOT A BAD FEMINIST! What you like when you fuck or masturbate doesnt dictate your politics. Liking something doesnt take away your feminist card. Part of feminism is acknowledging that women are free to like whatever they want. "Conventional" gender roles in sex are only a problem if they're forced or required by society or a partner.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-28 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
you would like fallout fandom then considering het smut with traditional gender roles (with added 50s values) makes up 90% of the fandom.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-29 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
Who cares? As far as I'm concerned, as long as everyone is at the age of consent and consenting, feminism has no place in the bedroom.

Some feminists just are way too whiny about kinks. "Oh, that's a blowjob, that's supporting the patriarchy!" "Women don't enjoy anal/PIV/blowjobs!"

Yeah, I don't care. Get your own sex life and stay out of mine.

It's the reverse for me, I love dominant women and submissive men.

(Anonymous) 2016-02-29 05:48 am (UTC)(link)
Me too! I love manly men and girly women. Some gender bending can be sexy but, really, I always prefer that clear and classic line.

Like everyone else said, there's nothing wrong with this so long as you're not forcing it on others. I want people of both genders to be free of gender restrictions. That includes having the freedom to conform to gender stereotypes so long as it's their choice and their desire.
