I was probably 12. My doctor says it's because of my asthma ... or something. I forgot, it was ages ago. My mum used to pull them out, but now that I don't live with her, I completely forgot about it until just now :p

I noticed my first one at 30. Might've gotten it earlier though since my hair is slightly light.

40. They are still pretty rare, so no noticeable stripes yet.

I've had white hairs in my beard since it first started growing. I don't know why; they're just there. (Red hairs, too, which I have nowhere else.)

Coming up on 33, still haven't gotten one.

I found a single white hair when I was in my mid-20s I think. I'm 31 now and haven't found any more yet. Although I do have a matching white pube...

I'm 26 now. I have like three white hairs that consistently grow in the exact same spot. I only regularly notice the one because it's visible from how I always part my hair (center part). I pluck it out, it grows right back. (yes I know you're not supposed to pluck but I'm not bothered about never having one single hair in my life ever again) I don't think my hair is turning white overall, just those like three hairs and I don't know why.

I was 26.

My Mom didn't even have any grey hair at the time, and there I was with my first silver.

Now I'm 37, and I'm pretty salt-and-pepper at the temples with a sprinkling on top.

15 :( but now I have a Rouge from X-men like stripe in my hair, which is cool.

I'm coming up on 30 and I still don't have any.

I'm 30 and I still don't have any, while several of my younger relatives already do.

Sometime in my late teens/early twenties. I always had a silver streak at the back of my head.

Around 30. Now I'm 40 and have a pretty stripe.

I did not have noticable salt-and-pepper until I was around 28, though, and did not have enough gray to feel compelled to dye over it until I was around 35. My mom was fully gray by that point and I am still mostly brown under the dye.

I'm 28. I have found one in the last year

After thirty, I guess? I may have had one or two in my twenties. But I'm male. I think I got more of a receding hairline where my female relatives got gray hairs in front.

About forty I started getting a bunch in one place, on my beard. Still mostly non-white elsewhere at 42. One in an eyebrow, one in my pubes, something like that.

Early 30s, I think? It doesn't bother me--mainly because I'm going silvery white like my mum and not the horrible dirty grey my grandmother had. I'm 45 and have a bit at my temples and few in front.

I'm 37 now and dye it regularly (doing it tonight, in fact) so it's hard for me to tell but I think I'm probably around 50% grey now.

Relatively early sadly. Around 25-ish. I wanted to stop dying it - and then noticed I have grey hairs and kept going with the dye after.

Around 13-14, my family found three in my hair. Early thirties now, last count was maybe 6-7.

Early twenties.

Late thirties.

I started life towheaded and still have the occasional white blonde hair. If I have any grey, I can't tell.
