It's a valid choice!

Bruce is pretty much that gloomy goth kid who isn't unlikable but can be hard to be around. Dickbats is a lot more like BTAS Batman, there's a warmth to him that simply isn't there in most depictions of Bruce.

Oh yeah, I definitely agree with you there. I loved Bruce in BTAS and The Batman Adventures comics (god, that was a great series. there were some issues that didn't quite reach the mark but the majority of it was very solid), but he got so gritty/angst-y in other continuities that it just wasn't fun for me anymore
