While I sympathized with her and thought the CEO was wrong in the long run, I have no idea why that Yelp employee thought posting that letter for the whole internet to see wouldn't get her fired. Even vegan hippies who run the Ma and Pa restaurant you work at will fire you if you tell the entire internet how much they suck.

I don't think this is a controversial opinion. Also, the CEO stated she was fired for other reasons - taking him at his word, I suspect she wrote that essay when she had already seen the writing on the wall.
