I work in a retail job I hate. I'm constantly exhausted, and on my few days off I tend to sleep a ridiculous amount and do the bare minimum (laundry, washing up etc) to keep my flat habitable. Most of the time I feel far too tired to job hunt, but I push myself and still get nowhere.

I don't want anything special. I want a job that pays a living wage and that doesn't make me honestly consider suicide. But where I live the main employers other than retail tend to be office/admin jobs which won't take me due to my lack of experience. And I can't do any temp work to gain experience without cutting my hours or quitting which would leave me unable to pay rent and my bills.

I feel stuck and I hate it. I hate how whiny I sound and I hate that my life now just seems to focus on my job and lack of money.

Put out applications and lie through your teeth about the experience. I'm not kidding. Most employers aren't actually looking at the numbers; they're weeding out people that won't even try because they're afraid they won't get hired.

Everyone lies on their applications, so don't worry. Get yourself out of that situation as soon as you can. I've been there before, and I know, it's killer.

That's terrible advice. "Everyone" doesn't lie on their applications, because most people suck at lying and if you get caught you will most likely get fired.

I do hiring for a company that takes on a lot of new hires. Trust me, most people lie on their applications.
