'I love this game.

I really want the remake to attract more fans.

But the current fandom is really intense.

There are so few of us. We're becoming an echo chamber. I think new fans will be put off by our close-knit community. I think they'll see us as a clique.

(Especially if we keep complaining about the new dialogue being less 'poetic'. At least the game is playable now!)'

Seconded-- I've never found a good complete LP, just one that was started long ago and never finished... I'm so into the world and characters as I've discovered so far, but even if I got my hands on the new version, I worry that trying to master a notoriously difficult game in a different style from what I usually play would prove too frustrating...

The worst part is there aren't really any comprehensive guides. Pathologic isn't too far from what I usually play (though it's quite a stricter take on survival than what I'm used to) but I often have no idea what I'm doing.

Not OP, but here's a complete LP for you to peruse. It's done really well and goes into a lot of detail, I definitely recommend it!

I played the HD re-release last year. I had to give up 'cuz my dad died around that time and I couldn't deal, but I'm absolutely interested in getting back into it. It's like an Eastern European cartoon from the early 1960s about incurable disease. I love it.
