I just find long secrets hard to read. :(

Me too, especially when the font is tiny and the secret maker didn't include a transcript.

I always feel they convey nuance more. One-sentence statements are more likely to be seen as controversial.

i try to keep my serects pretty short because i don't want people to tldr

and if i can i cut down my main point to something more concise, i just think that's easier to read and looks better, it doesn't mean i care any less

I don't mind long secrets either, as long as they're large enough to be legible. If they're written in tiny font, poorly designed or boring, I just skip them.

I've thought about sending in long secrets, but I'm always afraid they'll look ugly

I don't mind long secrets if the length is necessary to convey what is secret (e.g. recounting a series of events).

Long secrets that are just overly detailed rants on shit nobody cares about give me secondhand embarrassment.

Um. So you don't actually care about what you're writing for this very secret? Am I interpreting this wrong? I thought it was a clever secret with a nice dig at the community, but others are taking it at face value...
