I love to imagine this song as being about Chuck and Sarah, especially in the first season, and that all of the 'don't you dare look back/just keep your eyes on me' is so he doesn't break their cover by freaking out about the foreign agents creeping up on them. And he's hardly noticed that anything is wrong because he's just so completely enthralled by her.
