I kind of want to write a version of this trope where the pair make believe they're brother and sister. This kind of story often includes a "distraction kiss" where the couple nearly gets caught doing something and quickly pretend to be making out. In this story, they would quickly pretend to be arguing about something that happened at Thanksgiving.
