I have a ground floor, three-room apartment that I share with a roommate. Two small-ish bedrooms, one fairly large living-room kitchen combo. I would say, on the whole, medium-small. It's one city over from where I work, in a nice - though not fashionable - area. My roommate and I each pay $1050 a month, so $2100 a month for the unit, and we considered that a reasonably good deal (and are worried it's going to go up when our lease comes up).
