At this point, I fully expect them to end up together but I'm still hoping it won't happen. Maybe if the writers took the time to actually develop the relationship and show us that Ali has changed and is truly in love with Emily...but I doubt the writers care enough to do that. They'll just throw them together and brush all of their issues aside like they do with all their their unhealthy romantic relationships.

Emily's my favorite Liar but I haven't liked most of the love interests she's been given over the years. Maya was my favorite both because she seemed to treat Emily well and because I liked the chemistry between the actresses. But we all know Emily can't end up with Maya because she's one of the few characters on this show who will never come back from the dead.

On a side-note, I love both Alison and Paige as characters even though I don't like either one of them with Emily.

You sound like me. Emily's my favorite, I haven't liked most of her love interests, and I liked Maya the most.

I like Alison as a character too, although I've never really warmed up to Paige. It does seem like they're pointing to Emily and Ali ending up together, but I'm actually a little surprised they're not making it Emily/Paige since I thought they seemed fairly popular. (That could be because of behind the scenes stuff, though, I have no idea what Lindsey Shaw is up to these days, but she might be busy with other things.)
