It's also not true. I briefly worked at a place that had no women's bathroom specifically (me, and the cleaning lady that came in twice a week were the only women who worked there). So, essentially it was a men's bathroom (just with two women occasionally using it). When I started working there, I feared horror scenario's like this, but I've never known it to be filthy in the 6 months I worked there.

A unisex bathroom is not the same as a dedicated men's bathroom.

A shared bathroom primarily used by men, does not make it essentially a men's bathroom. They are aware it is shared. Especially for a workplace, when generally these comics are directed at public toilets and high-usage toilets.

Especially for a workplace

Oh man, literal shit can be found in workplace bathrooms. At my last job we would get weekly emails (at least!!!) from the boss' secretary informing us that someone shat on or besides the toilets in the women's bathroom again. It would go on for a couple of weeks, then stop for a few months, then start up again. It got so bad that they changed the angle of the security cameras to cover the area in front of the bathroom door so they could catch the one doing it.
