I'm far from being a kid and no where near rich. I just have a decent job and no kids, so I have disposable income. I get why laying down the hard figures at how much some fandoms can cost could be upsetting to some, but it's still annoying when I see the same people squee about doing the same things I'm doing without others getting upset at them even though we all know how much they cost.

That is rich these days. It didn't used to be, true, but it is now. That means you have to guard your comments better.

So op should humble and punish themselves as is proper any time they want to talk to their fandom about costly fandom things.

Or maybe just not talk about expensive stuff with total strangers, always try the middle ground first.

They weren't talking about expensive stuff with total strangers, they were talking about fandom activities on their personal blog. There is a difference.
