Re: What sexualities and gender identites do you believe exist?

Straight, gay, bi. Asexual. Though, I also believe these things may not always be concrete and can change (though not with therapy or anything). Sexuality can be fluid and unpredictable. And as someone above said, while I can buy that some people are "demi" I don't recognize that as a category because it's a dumb thing to categorize, it's basically meaningless.

Genders? Male, female. Physically intersex. I do think "gender neutral" falls under "special snowflake" mainly because I have never seen it described in a way that doesn't fall back on gender stereotypes, and I don't think "male" or "female" really mean anything outside of biology. (I have no issue with trans people and respect anyone absolutely who identifies with the gender they weren't born with, after all, effectively gender does make a huge difference in society and anyone who feels more at home in the category that doesn't match their sex has all my respect). I obviously recognize physically intersex people and if they decide not to "choose", power to them. But I can't bring myself to respect people who ~feel neither/both~ because what the hell does that mean anyway.

I think gender neutral could potentially make sense if it's a physical thing -like dysphoria concerning either sex characteristics.

Sure, but is that an identity, or just dysphoria? I wouldn't acknowledge Otherkin as some kind of independently existing identity even if someone really did have full body dysphoria and identified as a wolf. Well, I should say, any identity exists if someone believes they have it, some are worth validating, most are not.
