Look, everyone says it's "so bad it's good" but usually they don't deliver on the "bad" part. Except for over the top tits and ass which is the bloody point... so would you indulge me and tell me what you think is bad about the movie?

What about the acting? The script is horribly cheesy as it is but everyone chews the scenery like their lives depend on it, you can't help but think campy and ridiculous is exactly what they're going for.

NAYRT but I think when the argument boils down to "the acting is so bad it's maybe SUPPOSED to be bad", that's a pretty clear cut indictment of the movie's quality. Mind you, a movie doesn't have to be good to be enjoyable, but people often conflate the two and think that because they enjoyed a movie, therefore it must be good.

That's what I was talking about... really, I want OP of this thread to defend the acting to me. That film wasn't written to be a comedy, it was meant to be SERIOUS DRAMA, so what gives?

The sex scene in the pool was hilariously funny-bad, not sexy.
The sexy girls pillowfighting in their best Victoria's Secret underwear was cliche beyond cliche, as in no one in the real world believes this is what happens when two girls at home together.
The sad guy trying to get noticed in the dance world with his weird Flashdance strip ensemble dance thing was bizarre and strange.

I saw this film about ten years ago, and that's basically what stuck with me - aside from the bad acting, which apparently we're not supposed to mention in this thread.
