Is it possible to become addicted to orgasms? If so, I might be. I don't even have a partner. Still a virgin. But I've gotten so used to sex dreams and the resulting orgasm that I get frustrated and annoyed the rest of the day if I don't have one. It seem to literally affect my mood. And when I do have one I'm happy the rest of the day. Also, I've taken to fantasizing about sex things every night to try to make sure I have a sex dream. I used to have them a good majority of nights, but I've gotten it so I have them nearly every night now.

It's possible to become addicted to sex, porn, masturbating, erotica, sexual fantasizing, etc. Some scientists believe it has to do with the dopamine released by sexual thoughts or activity. Do you have any other addictive tendencies?

Never been addicted to alcohol or drugs or anything like that. Have had issues on and off with internet addiction.

At the risk of making you feel foolish, how old are you? We go through phases like this sometimes, and one is called puberty.

I'm 30. I've been like this at least since 20.

Well, if you're addicted to orgasms, at least they're not likely to cost you any money to procure, unlike a lot of addictions out there. And they're unlikely to result in physical harm, except maybe chafing. (well unless you only get off from auto-asphyxiation or sticking unsanitary stuff in unsanitary places or something) Or do you only get off from sex dreams and not masturbation? I'd be pissed because I can count the number of sex dreams I can remember having on one hand, none of them ended in orgasm, and all but one was actually really creepy. Like, if your pursuit of orgasms is in danger of costing you relationships, your job, your hobbies, or your happiness, then maybe it's a problem. If not, enjoy your awesome sex dreams when you have them and jerk off or rub one out when you don't.

Uh, I can orgasm either way. I orgasm pretty easily. And I do have a lot of sex dreams, most of them ending in orgasms. I tend to prefer the just straight dream orgasms, though, because I like waking up satisfied.
