OP, that sounds adorable! I love those types of fics. And it's fandom, which means (even if you feel like you shouldn't/left out) you are allowed to ship what you want how you want it. Not every relationship needs to have sex. I don't write sex in my fics because I don't like writing it. I do like the little family moments (i.e. cooking together, shopping,etc.) and I do like reading the more sexual moments in other fics but...

Not all of fandom is shipping.

Write some cute stuff yourself (or not cute, w/e you want). You'll be surprised who else shares your sentiments. This is the internet after all. You're never really alone.
