Trump is like a lot of career Republicans in that he has no firm principles, and he's been willing to buck the party line on things like progressive taxation. Ted Cruz is a true believer and a Tea Party anarchist through and through, up to and including shutting down the federal government which he was responsible for -- TWICE, something business owners (like Trump) were against. That's far more dangerous. To say nothing of his dominionism.

You need to look beyond campaign statements -- most of which are to be taken with a grain of salt, this year same as any other election -- and look at their history. And I'm not going to be the one to do it for you because it's your turn to do some homework.

I assure I know this. And about his bankruptcies. And use of eminent domain. He was a liberal because it was expedient, not because he gave a shit. He will do absolutely anything for money and power.
