Adaptations getting things from the source material "wrong." I used to be a huge purist about those things.

Now, when a change from the source material sucks and makes the adaptation suck (cough cough Harry Potter movies) I hate it because simply it sucks and I know it could've been better if they followed the source material more closely. But I no longer have a problem with adaptations simply being different in some ways and having some scenes/characters mean different things or have somewhat different personalities or tones from the source as a result, as long as the different-thing is still GOOD and works as part of the adaption.
