It's been a while since I had a wisdom tooth pulled, but I mostly just had an issue of not disturbing the scab that formed (yes scabs form in the mouth, they're just damp scabs). I support what others have said about avoiding irritating foods, like abrasive things, hard things on that side, and really acidic drinks. Stay on the softer side of food for a while.
