I think anything past the Main Ones (Violence, Torture, Death, Rape, Incest, and Eating Disorder) is overkill.

What about common phobias (spiders, bugs, snakes, etc.)?

I honestly don't see the point in the huge tag strings that amount to the same redundant thing like : cw blood, cw gore, cw violence... These are obviously different things in subtle ways, but who on the planet is like "I'm fine with violence, but BLOOD? FUCK THAT." The overlap is just too great.

It's especially baffling in fandoms like Mortal Kombat where if you're honestly triggered by blood how can you even be around the fandom/game itself? What is there to engage in, a handful of cute pictures and that is IT.

Eh, some people are really blood squeamish so that sort of makes sense - except I think in many/most cases it'd be discomfort rather than an actual trigger? but tagging for blood separately makes sense imo.
