Most of the weird content warnings I've seen are cases of "someone on my friends list is actually specifically bothered by this thing, so I'm tagging this as a favour to them". Which doesn't bug me, because hey, I have a tag for birds because my best friend has a phobia of them and I adore them and take a lot of photos that I like to share with other, non-phobic friends. I get to share my pictures, she gets to not see my pictures, we're both happy.

I only think it's ridiculous when someone flat out demands other people tag for their specific bugaboo. Ask, sure, but it's the other person's right to say no, especially if they don't know you from a hole in the ground.

...I'll admit, though, warning for specific colours is definitely a weird one.
