"Awesome designs" is where I disagree with you.
I liked the original Jem designs for how very ridiculously 80s they are, but the new designs don't appeal to me at all. They're not even right-now over the top, they look like MySpace scene girls from the mid-2000s.

I think Sophie's art has got worse with time, too. I used to love it back at the beginning of Wet Moon, but now the proportions look so off to me and everybody has the same face.
