Seriously, this reads like one of THOSE Dear Abby letters. The ones where the only logical response is "how is it any of your business what your sister does at her wedding?"

This. Anon is weirdly fixated on the idea that not taking your husband's name is soooooooo significant, so why should a big bad feminist want her dad to walk her down the aisle, blah blah blah. The connection is not anywhere near as logical as anon thinks.

And in the end, why should anon care? It's not their wedding.
