Meh, one of my top ships is Final Fantasy VII's Cloud/Aeris, and Aeris is notoriously dead. Still, it's the most implied, or tied with another pairing to be most implied pairing of the series. I'll take one character dying, as long as I feel the other character is still in love with them.
