I can understand it. If someone wants to see someone like them (in this case a trans man) in a sexual fic, and it's always written in a way that would work for him or anyone he's known like him, that's got to be annoying.

It can be frustrating when pretty much all porn aimed at you or people with your specific sexual interests, or involving people like you always has some trope you hate.

Well, I know this feel too since I ship middle aged characters in a fandom that apparently only wants to ship the younger guys, but I'm not going to go write a manifesto because people don't like what I like... y'know?

Sure, it's irritating, but what are you going to do?

As an ace person I avoid all fandom related to "ace" characters because it all seems to come down to viewing asexually as a kink or something to overcome. It grossed me out too much, and I also found it disturbing / offensive. I just don't even look anymore. Maybe things have improved, but I doubt it, and it's not worth the pain.
