Noragami
(Anonymous) 2016-03-12 01:54 am (UTC)(link)I guess I really like the premise, even though I don't think it's a flawless show, I find it loads of fun to watch. Yato and Yukine are awesome. The female lead sort of bounces between feeling stupidly unnecessary to me and somewhat lovable (usually when she's being mature/motherly or occasionally when she and Yato argue). But I really want to know what happens next, and I haven't heard if any more seasons are in the works... even though it's pretty clear they just adapted an arc or two of the manga and there's probably plenty more to go.

(Anonymous) 2016-03-12 03:40 am (UTC)(link)haha I'm not sure I really explained myself well, but if you're a fan of urban Japanese fantasy/Japanese mythology, you might be intrigued. For me, the premise is enough to make it really enjoyable, even if the script itself doesn't quite do it justice.
Re: Noragami
(Anonymous) 2016-03-12 03:33 am (UTC)(link)My annoyance at her being a love interest has nothing to do with me shipping Yato with Bishamon and Kazuma. Nothing at all.Re: Noragami
(Anonymous) 2016-03-12 03:44 am (UTC)(link)So I try to interpret it as, Hiyori's real significance is being someone who will remember Yato, since that's the most important thing to him, so he won't fade away. Since that's the role a human, or a priestess, really has to a god, it makes sense without there being actual romance, even if it's sort of played that way.
