Urgh, I feel you.

Like, it's one thing where the couple has been together for a while, the binder comes off, a shirt doesn't immediately come on, and it's a show of trust in that they trust their partner to see them topless and not focus on or be influenced by their breast tissue, and to treat them the same way they always have. I'm all for fics where couples re-negotiate boundaries based on deepening trust. But I agree, when it turns into breast-play, it's a back-button. Like, suddenly this character is just a pair of breasts and everyone is happy, even though we know that up until that point, he's actively wanted to be rid of that part of himself?

I think it helps when that 'trust' moment first happens in a non-sexual setting, as fics go? Because it doesn't jump into 'and then boobs!', but... like...

Yeah, OP, I feel you. (I mean, I am non-binary, so my own dysphoria is far from constant, but the chest is the worst)
