This is the least pathetic thing I've ever read.

Honestly I dunno if I'd consider anything anyone here has said as "pathetic".

OP of first thread. It feels pathetic to me to do something I hate just for the positive attention. At least, I feel pathetic every time I write something.

At least you're writing. I don't even have the energy to do that. And I think creating something that people enjoy is a pretty ok way to get attention.

Honestly I think everyone is too hard on people about "wanting attention" lately and people love to accuse other people of being "attention whores" and will never admit that they want attention in some way too.

Everyone needs to relax about it. It's not so much wanting attention but how you go about it. Going to the work of creating something? Pretty good way to go about IMO.

Really wanting attention is to some degree a very natural human thing. It's downright stupid to be vilifying it the way people do. I've had friends who admitted to holding in issues when they needed help. Because they thought they were being attention whores.
