Wait, they brought Connor Hawke into the Arrow-verse? So he's not Olly's kid in this universe? I saw the episode where Olly's mother bought off the mother of his kid and no-one there was black or Asian.

Connor Hawke isn't actually Connor Hawke and isn't really in Arrow-verse. Legends of Tommorow folk went to 2046 and met someone calling themselves that and acting as the Green Arrow. Later we meet Ollie and find out that's just a name the guy's taken and he's actually John Diggle, Jr.

"Connor Hawke" wasn't Oliver's kid, he was Diggle's (and Lyla's presumably, although that wasn't specified).

The mother of Oliver's kid turned out to be named Samantha Clayton, and her son was named William. I suspect they were originally supposed to be Sandra and Connor, but there was an outcry about whitewashing Sandra and so they changed the names, since the name "Sandra" had never actually been said onscreen.
