I think I loved Clementine so much because you spend the first game protecting her, and then Season 2 is like "why are you jerks not appreciating this precious child?!"

I felt the same about Clem! I'm not usually big on kids, so it was kind of a shock to spend two games absolutely determined to make sure she ended up safe & happy (which, well, didn't end up working out as well as I'd hoped, but there's not much I can expect from a zombie apocalypse game). I was incredibly protective over her, haha.
