I liked Hope too. Yeah, he had issues and flaws, but hell, so did the rest of the cast, who I also liked a lot. I'm inclined to give him more of a break than the rest (even Vanille and Fang, who I want to marry), 'cause the poor kid starts the game by watching helplessly as his mother dies and then everything gets worse from there. I think he held up pretty well under all of that pressure, his little murder attempt notwithstanding, though I don't hold that against him. I like Snow well enough, but I can totally understand wanting to murder him from time to time.
