Pretty sure a large part of the difference is because the marvel netflix shows are better and more popular than the DC CW-verse.

People make a fuss about shows they actually care about, big surprise.

Also, iron fist is going to be the titular character of the series, rather than a sidekick that most people haven't heard of, so he gets more attention.
