Surprisingly, no. A lot of the creepiness in gamer communities comes about because it's accepted by the vocal portions of the community - there are the occasional people who'll shut someone being a sleaze down, but most of the time he'll get encouragement from his peers, or at best silence. People who sexually harass young teenagers don't get that approval, though - most of their peer group will turn on them, and will turn on them viciously.

The creeps who get through anyway are definitely creepier, but there are a hell of a lot fewer of them, and there's a lot more support for outing them/getting them banned.
