My ships don't have to become canon; it's only if I start to feel like they're dangling the possibility of it in front of our faces (COUGH Dean and Castiel) only to snatch it away over and over again (cough cough Zuko and Katara), then I get a little bitter about it. In general though, I'm happy to just ship away and don't feel the need for it to become Legit.

Representation, on the other hand, does matter. I want it all and I don't know why it's so hard to find.
